Illuminated countertop advertising display produced for Hanover Shirts, featuring the slogan "See Yourself at Your Best in Hanover Shirts" alongside a stylized shirt-and-tie graphic. Hanover Shirts were a popular mid-priced American menswear brand widely distributed through department stores and military post exchanges during the 1930s and 1940s.
The figure's head is formed by a reflective mirrored panel, allowing customers to see their own reflection while viewing the display, creating an interactive sales presentation intended to associate the shopper with the Hanover brand.
