Collection of antique metal dairy and cheese stencils mounted to a painted wooden display board. The group includes stencil plates for S. E. Kuenzi Full Cream Cheese of Watertown, Wisconsin; Full Cream Brick Cheese made for Woodard & Stone of Watertown, Wisconsin; Chas. Balitz of Chicago; Steinert Bros. of Milwaukee; and other dairy-related markings. Also included is an antique scorp knife used in stencil and pattern cutting. The stencils exhibit hand-cut lettering and retain their original patinated surfaces, creating an attractive display representative of late 19th and early 20th century dairy and cheese production.
