On the Design:

Inspired by the early-to-mid-20th-century French Art Deco movement and graphic tribal iconography, this piece presents an expressive interplay of architectural symmetry and energetic linework. The central field is anchored by an expansive diamond lattice network drawn in soft blue against a rich cocoa-brown foundation. Embedded within each diamond module are nested lozenge motifs featuring fine pick-stitched internal detailing, creating a dense, layered visual rhythm that extends across the interior. Framing the layout at top and bottom are bold directional chevron spandrels, while stepped geometric side panels and a broad outer border filled with repeating chevron motifs establish clear, disciplined structural boundaries around the central canvas. The color story pairs muted slate blue and warm cocoa brown with crisp cream and beige accents, infusing the structured geometric forms with sophisticated warmth. Natural abrash variations within the wool yield soft, organic tonal shifts across the brown and blue fields, preventing the geometric boundaries from feeling overly rigid or heavy. The cream outlines highlight every internal chevron, pick-stitched line, and geometric boundary, allowing the complex motifs to stand out with exceptional clarity.
