The … Read more A stylish mid-century modern pair of swivel office task chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. The chairs are are crafted from ergonomically contoured shells with rolled arms and deep seats. Each chair sits atop an aluminum four-spoked swivel base with rolling casters and an adjustable height column. The seats have been re-upholstered in a crisp black and white ticking zig-zag fabric, traced by a black vinyl edge. The bottoms of the seats are finished in a parchment-toned molded vinyl, contrasting the bold upholstery. Crafted in a Mid-Century Modern style, the pair is well-suited for use in a variety of spaces. Herman Miller maker's stamp and tags are located on the underside of the chairs. Later re-upholstered by Humemodern furniture restoration, Los Angeles, with tag located under the chairs. The chairs are sturdy with solid construction and excellent joinery in exceptional condition given age and use. Sold as a pair. From an estate in Hollywood, CA.
