Craftsmen cut the mother-of-pearl into leaf shapes, fix them on the base of the plate, and arrange them into a continuous pattern of flowers and leaves. The surface of Fritillaria has soft natural pearlescent light. When the light moves, the disk surface will show rich gradation changes.
The outer frame of the tray is hand-woven with natural rattan. The weave structure is tight and the edges are polished and rounded. The three trays have decreasing sizes and can be placed individually for display or for holding meals and small items. They can also be nested inside each other to reduce storage space. There are subtle differences in the mother-of-pearl stitching patterns of each piece, reflecting the unique characteristics of handcrafting.
