The structural base consists of a heavily patinated, dark cast metal anchor that provides a solid, weighted foundation. Embracing the mid-20th-century fascination with beachcombing and maritime curiosities, the piece has been meticulously hand-adorned with a diverse selection of marine life. A curated assortment of spiral gastropod shells, turbans, bivalves, and a tiny, detailed seahorse figure scale the central shank and accent the flukes. The contrast between the rugged, aged dark metal and the pale, organic textures of the shells creates a captivating visual balance. Perfect for an eclectic coastal interior, beach house mantel, or yacht cabin bookcase, this whimsical sculptural object celebrates the nostalgic charm of classic maritime souvenir art. See less
