Vice (left panel): Width: 16 inches, Depth: 1.25 inches, Height: 20 inches.
Light and darkness have always coexisted from the beginning of the world. The artist visualizes the vicious dark force in hot pink, which connotes temptation yielding to evil offenses. The horizontal rectangle implies the wide-spreading attribute of vice.
Virtue (right panel): Width: 16 inches, Depth: 1.25 inches, Height: 20 inches.
The opposite force that negates the adverse aspect of vice is good conscience. The artist conjures up the concept of goodness in a calm yet mighty aquamarine. The vertical placement of the rectangle suggests the overcoming power of virtue.
