A vibrant hand-painted directional sign used to draw attention toward a nearby coin-operated machine or attraction. The carved wooden pointing hand-complete with stylized knuckle and arrow detailing-extends from a bold yellow panel stenciled LOOK in deep red shadowed lettering. These signs were commonly mounted beside penny scales, gum machines, photo booths, strength testers, and other early arcade or storefront coin-op devices to pull customers in from a distance.
Constructed with iron brackets and a shaped wooden body, this example retains strong original color, playful typography, and the unmistakable gesture that made these signs effective trade stimulators.
