In addition to crafting half-models, he currently serves as the third deputy mayor of Henvic. His half-models are handmade and one-of-a-kind; signed on the back.

The original design (1923–1924): In 1923, the renowned naval architect Charles Raillard, from nearby Carantec, drew up the blueprints for a wooden pilot cutter (*Cotre Pilote de la Baie de Morlaix*). Construction of this specific type of vessel began, and the ship entered service in early 1924 for operations in the Bay of Morlaix. It was named after the tidal harbor of Le Dourduff-en-Mer.
