This travertine coffee table was designed by Angelo Mangiarotti for Up&Up Italy in the 1970s. The column shaped legs are interlocked in the table top and can be disassembled for transport.
Travertine is a form of limestone that exhibits pleasing colour variations – its holey surface adding interesting texture. The minimal form allows the stone to steal the show. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
