Its unusually long horizontal case combines four panelled doors with four drawers below, raised on carved legs joined by a long stretcher and finished with a subtly shaped apron.

The pale oak displays pronounced grain throughout, with carved decoration across the drawer fronts and legs adding texture to the otherwise restrained construction. Brass-toned escutcheons and keys provide small decorative accents, while the cabinet interiors are arranged with shelves for generous storage. Dovetail joints are visible at the drawer corners.
