Danish sideboard in dark stained oak by Henning Kjærnulf, dating from the 1960s. Its broad, low-set cabinet, carved legs and long stretcher base give the piece a strong architectural presence, with bold, sculptural qualities associated with Brutalist design.
Three panelled doors open to generous shelved compartments, while three shallow drawers below feature dovetail joints and green felt lining. The deep brown stain emphasizes the oak grain, complemented by decorative brass-toned escutcheons and an ornate key.
Combining substantial proportions with practical storage, the sideboard retains the warmth and simplicity associated with Scandinavian design. Its dark oak, restrained facade and expressive carved base allow it to sit comfortably in Modern, Classic Vintage or Art Deco-inspired interiors. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
