Pulbrook & Gould’s Flowers for Special Occasions, a beautifully photographed volume devoted to the art of floral design and entertaining, personally signed by co-author Susan Pulbrook.
Susan Pulbrook co-founded the celebrated London floral design house Pulbrook & Gould with Rosamund Gould in 1956. This volume presents elaborate floral arrangements created for weddings, Christmas celebrations, table decorations, home entertaining and other special occasions.
The book is richly illustrated with 54 color photographs and contains 96 pages. Particularly striking are the dramatic full-page and double-page floral photographs, making the volume equally appealing as a decorative coffee-table book and as a collectible piece of British floral-design history.
Susan Pulbrook’s large signature appears in blue ink on the front free endpaper.
Published by B.T. Batsford Ltd., London. Originally published in 1982 and subsequently reprinted; this example is the 1992 reprint. ISBN 0-7134-4473-8.
