A set of four English Regency period black lacquer dining chairs with gilt decoration throughout consisting of three side chairs … Read more A set of four English Regency period black lacquer dining chairs with gilt decoration throughout consisting of three side chairs and one with arms. Each chair has a curved crest rail painted with a gilt Greek key border around an oval of painted roses. The backs have crossed arched rails set with gilt balls, over caned seats. The seat rails carry gilt flowers and leaves, and the saber legs are banded in gilt rings. The armchair has scrolled arms. Armchair measures 21.75" wide, 18" deep and 33" high; side chairs measure 18" wide, 16" deep and 33" high. See less
