Early 20th-century wall-mounted scissor arm lamp attributed to W. D. Allison Co. of Indianapolis, Indiana, a manufacturer known for medical and dental equipment. The adjustable accordion-style arm is constructed primarily of japanned copper and extends outward from a pivoting wall mount to position the light as needed. Fitted with a distinctive green ribbed glass shade with a flared profile reminiscent of period industrial, medical, and task lighting. The articulated construction provides a wide range of adjustment while retaining the lamp's original utilitarian character.
