Early 20th-century reverse-painted glass advertising sign for H.L. Kuter of Shannon, Illinois, a manufacturer and dealer in carriages and wagons. The colorful hand-painted design features dimensional isometric lettering in red, green, blue, silver, and white against a black ground, with a yellow upper field and decorative geometric accents. A reflective foil backing beneath the painted glass enhances the lettering and gives the graphics additional depth. Presented in a substantial molded wood frame.
