c. 1920s; Fairbanks, Morse and Co. - St. Johnsbury, VT
Antique embossed aluminum wall plaque.
This piece comes from a Fairbanks-Morse manufacturing facility, specifically a location where they built C-Liner diesel locomotives. It features the company's branding, a hand grasping a large weight; this is a reference to their history in the manufacture of weighing scales. This branding stands out in high relief from the backdrop, a series of ribbed embellishments.
