Equilibrium explores the delicate relationship between balance, tension and stillness through an expressive combination of natural stone, weathered steel and solid wood. Smooth river stones appear almost weightless within the strong geometric steel structure, creating a compelling contrast between the organic and the architectural. The naturally aged surfaces and warm patina of the steel give the piece a quiet, timeless character. Mounted on a substantial solid-wood base, equilibrium has a commanding presence while retaining a remarkable sense of calm. A unique sculptural object that sits beautifully within both contemporary and collected interiors. See less
