The service comprises six cups, six saucers, a covered tea or coffee pot, a covered sugar bowl and a creamer. Vieux paris is one of haviland’s historic revival patterns, drawing upon archival french designs and the refined decorative vocabulary of parisian porcelain. The service is distinguished by its crisp white porcelain, finely dotted green borders, delicate scattered flowers, magenta linear accents and extensive gilt decoration, creating a particularly fresh and sophisticated composition. Each piece bears the haviland limoges france vieux paris mark. The set has been carefully examined and appears unused, with no visible signs of service wear; even the saucers show no noticeable surface scratching. The gilding remains bright and well preserved throughout. A particularly attractive and complete example of this classic haviland pattern, equally suitable for use, display or collection.
