Designed for Louis Poulsen in the late 1960s, this pair pairs architectural restraint on the outside with a glowing white-painted interior, creating understated pools of light rather than a harsh downward beam.

Eila & John Meiling brought a quiet, architectural sensibility to Danish lighting design, and this cylinder pendant — first shown in Louis Poulsen's 1967 catalogue — is a clean expression of that philosophy: a single confident geometric form doing all the work.
