Dating to approximately the late 1980s–early 1990s, the service combines luminous white porcelain with deep blue geometric bands enriched by an intricate gilt lattice design and finely detailed gold borders. The restrained architectural decoration gives the set a particularly elegant and timeless character. Founded in bavaria at the beginning of the 20th century, schirnding became known for finely made german table porcelain, while arturo pasquinucci, established in italy in 1870, developed and distributed distinctive collections of decorative ceramics and tableware. The service comprises seven cups and seven saucers, a covered tea or coffee pot, a covered sugar bowl and a creamer. The pieces have been carefully examined and show no visible signs of use, with the decoration and gilding exceptionally well preserved. The underside bears both the schirnding bavaria 421 factory mark and the arturo pasquinucci collezioni mark.
