Vintage Mid-Century Danish Design Table Lamp with opaline shade and teak base from the 1960s. Bring the warm, atmospheric glow of the 1960s into your home with this beautiful mid-century table lamp! This unique vintage object is the perfect combination of organic Scandinavian design and timeless ‘space age’ geometry. The Shade: Made of high-quality white opaline glass. The shade features a subtle, semi-transparent woven pattern (swirl effect). This creates a beautiful diffused and warm ambient light when the lamp is lit.
The Base: An iconic ‘diabolo’ (hourglass) shape, crafted from warm, dark-toned wood with a refined, visible wood grain. The base is elegantly finished with chrome and brass accent rings, so typical of the luxury design of this period.
Condition: In excellent vintage condition. The glass is completely intact, without chips, cracks, or deep scratches. The wooden base shows only minimal, characteristic signs of age consistent with its age and enhancing the authenticity of the object.
