The curved shoulders, raised back lip and tapered legs give it a light, elegant profile.

The lockable fall front opens on brass stays to a good-sized writing surface. Behind it is a fitted interior with pigeonholes, a shelf and two small drawers with turned knobs, so there's a home for stationery and paperwork. Below, a full-width drawer with Jentique's sculpted oval handles sits above a double cupboard with a shelf, and the matching handles tie the whole front together. The drawer has neatly jointed corners, a good sign of the build quality throughout.
