A striking set of six tall cased art glass highballs in opaque white with dramatic contrasting black rims.
Each glass has a clean, elongated silhouette, standing an impressive 8 inches tall, with the crisp black lip providing a graphic counterpoint to the luminous white body. The restrained black-and-white palette gives the set a distinctly modernist presence and makes them especially effective displayed together on a bar or drinks trolley.
The glasses appear individually made, with subtle variations inherent to the glassmaking process. Their bold proportions and monochromatic palette recall mid-century Italian art glass, although the maker and country of origin are unknown.
A sophisticated and unusual set for cocktails, water or display.
