Dating more than 20 years old, this substantial six-sided pyramid reproduces the traditional glass deck prisms historically used aboard ships to transmit natural daylight into spaces below deck.

The color is especially striking—a very deep, saturated cobalt that appears almost black in lower light and becomes brilliantly translucent blue when illuminated. Its heavy geometric form makes it a beautiful sculptural object for a coastal, nautical, or collected interior.

The glass contains small trapped bubbles as well as several shallow crater-like surface irregularities associated with the casting process, adding character to the piece. The surfaces are otherwise smooth and glossy. Please review photographs closely, as these casting characteristics are visible and form part of the condition description.
