The four-drawer case is framed by subtle fluted corner stiles and raised on tapered feet, lending the piece a restrained neoclassical elegance. Retaining its original escutcheons and patinated brass pulls, the commode balances provincial warmth with refined craftsmanship, making it equally suited to traditional and contemporary interiors. Keys included. The piece shows signs of wear commensurate with age. See less

There are light surface scratches and minor cosmetic wear to the finish, particularly along the bottom trim and feet, consistent with historical age and use. Notable dark wooden pegging or fills are visible near the edges of the top plank, which points to traditional craftsmanship. The original brass hardware is intact with a dark, aged patina. The drawers sit flush, and the structural frame remains solid and sturdy. less
