A striking black-and-white print titled Le Laocoön, depicting Laocoön and his sons entwined with serpents. Detailed linework and dramatic shading emphasize the sculptural figures, creating a substantial focal point for a study, library, living room, or collected gallery wall.
The print is presented under glass with a wide charcoal-gray mat and a rustic wood frame featuring pronounced grain and a dark brown finish. Cream-colored paper margins complement the monochromatic image and weathered appearance of the frame.
Printed inscriptions credit Bervic and Bouillon. The composition follows the engraving by Charles-Clément Bervic after Pierre Bouillon; the printing date, edition, and production method of this particular example have not been authenticated. Offered as a framed print, with no claim that it is an original early-19th-century impression.

The wood frame shows scattered scuffs, small nicks, finish wear, and wear along the edges and corners. The backing board has scattered marks and surface wear. Two hanging attachments are visible; no connecting wire is shown. Reflections in the glass limit assessment of fine surface scratches and other small imperfections. The photographs do not establish the condition of concealed paper edges or the mounting method. Please review the detailed photographs as part of the condition description. *Please note that this is a pre-owned item and is not brand new. Pre-owned pieces have been previously used and may show age-appropriate wear, including scratches, scuffs, small chips, discoloration, finish variations, fading, patina, repairs, or other imperfections.
