An extraordinary example of fine luxury cabinetry, this Neoclassical style commode by Theodore Alexander exemplifies master craft and timeless bench-made quality. Crafted with a rich wood finish, the chest is highlighted by delicate gold leaf (parcel-gilt) beaded molding outlining each drawer face.
The piece offers exceptional storage with a nine-drawer arrangement (three stacked center drawers flanked by three side drawers on each wing). It is detailed with authentic cast-brass drop handles and central escutcheon pulls, fluted side columns with gilt accents, and elegant turned tapered legs. Plaqued with the official brass maker's mark (Theodore Alexander).
