A vibrant 5‑piece set of hand‑blown tumblers from Peàn Doubulyu’s expressive Wavie line — studio glass created by partners Elizabeth Pannell and James Watkins, RISD‑trained makers known for sculptural forms, joyful colorwork, and functional pieces designed for everyday use.
Each tumbler features freeform lime‑green trails and scattered deep‑purple dots suspended against clear glass — a hallmark of the studio’s playful 1990s aesthetic. As with all handmade Peàn Doubulyu work, the forms vary subtly, giving the set its characteristic individuality.
All five tumblers are signed and date to 1995–1996, aligning with the studio’s mature period of pattern‑driven functional glass.
