The solid-wood tabletop has been fully refinished to restore and highlight the natural oak grain. The surface was finished with Special Walnut stain and protected with three coats of satin polyurethane, resulting in a durable furniture-grade finish with a warm medium-brown tone and soft satin sheen.

The tabletop is constructed from solid wood boards rather than veneer, with the natural grain continuing through to the underside.

The table’s most notable design element is its set of gently splayed tapered legs, each featuring an elongated open split detail. This architectural treatment gives the table a lighter and more sculptural profile than a conventional oak dining table.

The table includes two removable 9-inch extension leaves, providing three different usable lengths and making it well suited to both everyday dining and larger gatherings.

Softly rounded corners, a slim apron and the warm Special Walnut finish complete the understated mid-century design.

The underside retains original factory production markings, although no manufacturer’s label has been identified.
