Striking vintage Maddux of California C603 two-tier serving stand dating to the mid-20th century, featuring sculptural scalloped ceramic tiers with a luminous pearlized olive-green and gold glaze.
Both tiers formed with dramatic radiating ribbing that creates a fan or shell-like effect, while the glossy finish shifts beautifully between olive, chartreuse, and warm golden tones depending on the light. The three ceramic tiers are connected by a polished silver-tone metal spindle and topped with an elegant geometric carry handle.
The combination of sculptural form, saturated glaze, and gleaming metal hardware gives this piece a distinctly Mid-Century Modern / Hollywood Regency presence.
