A fabulous pair of vintage petite tub chairs featuring sculptural wood frames and rich raspberry-red velvet upholstery. Their compact proportions and distinctive open-frame construction give these chairs an especially chic, architectural presence.
Each chair features a gently curved wraparound back and arms with inset upholstered panels, subtly flared legs, and a generously cushioned seat. The warm wood frames provide a beautiful contrast to the saturated raspberry velvet, while the low profile and graceful lines give the pair an elegant vintage character.
At just 27” wide × 17” deep × 26” high, these chairs are wonderfully versatile. Their petite scale makes them ideal as occasional chairs flanking a console or fireplace, in a bedroom or dressing room, tucked beneath a window, or anywhere a pair of full-size lounge chairs would feel too substantial.
The chairs retain their vintage wood finish and existing velvet upholstery. The frames show scattered scratches, finish wear, and other age-appropriate signs of use. They present beautifully as found, while also offering an excellent opportunity for custom upholstery or refinishing.
