A highly collectible, verified pair of 1950s French mid-century accent chairs attributed to Colette Guéden. This set features matching frames with playfully mismatched original upholstery, offering a layered, curated aesthetic.
Manufacturer: Coop Meubles Nancy (original period stamp perfectly preserved on the canvas underside of the red chair).
Frames: Black tubular steel terminating in delicate, original brass sabots (feet).
Upholstery: Highly durable original vinyl (skai). One features a smooth red finish; the other features a golden-straw hue with a tactile, faux-woven rattan texture.
Dimensions: 15.5” W x 17” D x 35” H (Seat Height: 18.5”)
Condition: Good authentic vintage condition. Structurally sound with lovely, age-appropriate patina on the frames. There is a minor scuff on the front edge of the red vinyl seat (please review photos).
