The compelling narrative scene depicts a Cossack soldier crouching protectively beside his fallen mount, rifle raised and ready. Rendered with exceptional realism, fine chasing, and a rich dark brown patina, mounted upon a solid marble base. A striking, museum-quality piece for collectors of fine European bronzes and military history. See less
