This exceptionally large piece of furniture combines ample storage space with a central display cabinet, mirrors, and several marble shelves.

The elaborately structured front is particularly distinctive, featuring boldly curved profiles and numerous three-dimensionally carved vine leaf and grape motifs. This floral ornamentation continues across the entire structure, the doors, and the curved base, lending the buffet a striking, almost sculptural quality.

The upper central section is designed as a display cabinet with curved, polished glass and a glass base. Below it is another polished mirror. The side sections are supported by curved, also carved, consoles. Two smaller side marble shelves and one large central marble slab divide the surfaces. The marble slabs are completely intact and show no cracks or significant damage.

The lower section contains several lockable compartments and two drawers. Also noteworthy are the high-quality, geometrically designed metal fittings, which differ significantly from the usual simple fittings of comparable buffets. See less
