Table lamp with a translucent green onyx stem, veined with white and brown, turned into a pear-shaped vase. Italian or French production style, 1950s-1970s.
The connecting elements and the base are made of gilded brass, finely chased with acanthus leaf motifs. The base is a matching onyx disc, encircled with brass, resting on three brass claw feet—a refined neoclassical-inspired ensemble.
The original conical lampshade in ivory/beige fabric with a double silver trim has a stain and some light soiling. The lamp displays a patina consistent with its age: slight oxidation of the brass, felt residue under the base.
Sold as is, this lamp remains both decorative and functional. It would suit a classic interior as well as a vintage or neoclassical setting.
