Folding garden table in a bistro/guinguette style, likely dating from the 1900s-1930s. The rectangular metal tabletop has rounded corners and is covered with a beautiful natural patina of brownish-orange rust and traces of the original green paint. The folding frame rests on tubular iron legs forming a characteristic double X, connected by riveted crossbars—a typical construction for Belle Époque café and garden tables. Traces of the old green paint remain visible on the frame, confirming its authenticity and history of outdoor use.
The wear is pronounced and substantial, consistent with the age of the piece, without compromising its overall sturdiness. Ideal for a vintage garden setting, a patio, or an industrial/flea market interior.
