The console features a wood veneer in warm tones and a rich grain. Its simple tabletop and clean lines are accentuated by two decorative, glossy black, turned columns. These columns stand on a stepped base, creating a striking contrast to the brown wood surfaces.

One of the most beautiful details of the piece is the large, original, heavily patinated/antiqued mirror inset on the back. The mirror's characteristic mottled, aged surface doesn't create a modern, pristine mirror effect, but rather lends the console a distinctly decorative, authentic antique character.

The upper section features a practical pull-out drawer adorned with a classic, ring-shaped metal handle. The drawer's traditional joinery also conveys the charm of high-quality, classic furniture craftsmanship.

The gently curved shape of the lower section makes the piece of furniture appear even lighter, while the column-like black elements lend it a monumental, architectural character.
