Striking pair of vintage Hustadt Leuchten wall lights, manufactured in Germany in the 1980s. A beautiful example of German lighting design with a distinctly modernist and postmodernist aesthetic.
The design combines a slender, sharply geometric metal structure with a large, sculptural single reflector measuring 18 cm in diameter. The polished gold-tone metal beautifully reflects both the surrounding interior and the light itself, creating an elegant and sophisticated visual effect.
Despite their minimalist construction, these sconces have a strong sculptural presence. Their geometric silhouette and reflective surfaces make them particularly appealing within Mid-Century Modern, Modern, Postmodern and Space Age interiors, while they can also work beautifully in Art Deco settings.
Measuring 32 cm in height, the sconces are substantial enough to become a distinctive architectural element while remaining visually light and refined.
An original and highly decorative pair of German vintage wall lights by Hustadt Leuchten, combining functionality with the unmistakable character of 1980s design.
A distinctive pair for collectors of German vintage lighting and 1980s design.
