Designed by Danish designer Klaus Wettergren for Q-Production, Copenhagen, these chairs belong to his celebrated "Sitting Sculpture" series — a limited edition of only 100 numbered pieces. Named for their bold, sculptural triangular backrests that treat seating as functional art, the design pairs expressive burl veneer with sleek chrome and black lacquer. Wettergren, also known for his striking "Steamliner" chair, was a defining voice in 1980s Danish Postmodernism, and this rare, numbered edition is highly sought after by collectors of the period.
