The figure is modeled in a dynamic, dramatic pose: kneeling with her body twisted, she draws her bow and prepares to release an arrow. The subject evokes the goddess Diana, a mythological figure associated with the hunt, nature, and feminine energy. The sculpture possesses a strong decorative quality, featuring a finely painted face, enameled blonde hair, a slender body, and a spotted garment inspired by animal hide. The bow and arrow lend movement to the composition and accentuate its narrative character. The glossy glazed ceramic surface enhances the colors and gives the figure a luminous, vibrant presence. A decorative collector’s piece, ideal for console tables, sideboards, bookcases, display cabinets, or interiors with a Mid-Century Modern, eclectic, or Italian vintage aesthetic. Favaro & Cecchetto brand and “Made in Italy” mark on the bottom.
