An elegant, original round Art Deco-style tray, dating from around the 1930s.
The tray is made of dark, decorative veneer with a distinct grain pattern. Its defining feature is a geometric composition of metal slats forming a cross-shaped motif on the tray’s surface. The design is complemented by a wide, slightly raised rim with a rounded profile.
The simple, geometric form and the combination of dark wood with metallic elements fit very well with the aesthetic of European Art Deco from the interwar period.
The tray can be used both for its original purpose and as a decorative element in an interior—on a coffee table, a chest of drawers, or a console table.
