Kjærnulf had a particular talent for combining the modernism of the 1960s with classical styles. He is perhaps best known for his iconic Razorblade chairs, which have become highly sought-after pieces of Danish design. This highboard shows another side of the same distinctive approach.

Its clean proportions and tapered legs create a light, modern appearance, while the gently curved doors and subtle details add a more classical touch.

Four doors create a strong rhythm across the front, where the beautiful wood grain takes centre stage. Below, a row of four drawers is neatly integrated into the design. Note also the integrated bar cabinet, a practical and rather nice detail.
