A red barn with a long pale roof sits just left of center on a wide horizontal canvas, a low open shed running off to its right. The sky fills the upper half and is built from soft panels of lavender-blue, lightening toward the right edge. A band of golden yellow runs the full width at the horizon, and below it the ground is deep green, divided by soft diagonals into darker and lighter fields. Two small yellow windows show in the lower wall of the barn, and the open bay of the shed reads as a dark rectangle.

The painting measures 24 inches high by 48 inches wide. It is unframed, but ready to hang. Signed by the artist, lower left.
