A white barn stands … Read more "North of Eden" is an acrylic on canvas landscape painting by Justin Wheatley, completed in 2024.

A white barn stands head-on and fills most of the canvas. Its roof curves out at the eaves in a shallow gambrel, with a small dark red block set at the peak. A pale square window with a dark sill sits high in the wall, and two small navy four-pane windows are spaced lower down on either side of a wide grey door. Behind the barn the sky is divided into two panels of grey-blue, lighter on the right. A thin rust-red line runs along the horizon, and below it the ground is a deep green field crossed by a narrow band of olive.

The painting measures 48 inches high by 36 inches wide. It is unframed, but ready to hang. Signed by the artist, lower right.
