"Barn, Palette #5" is an acrylic on canvas landscape painting by Justin Wheatley, completed in 2024.
A blue barn stands alone against a pale coral-pink sky. It is painted in two blues, a lighter front wall and a deeper side wall, under a broad off-white gambrel roof that overhangs at the eaves. A row of five small dark windows runs along the front wall, and a single dark window sits high in the gable. A thin red line marks the horizon behind the building. Below it the ground is divided into flat horizontal bands, pale white through the middle and a deep navy band across the bottom edge. The weave of the canvas shows through the broad flat areas of color.
The painting measures 48 inches high by 36 inches wide. It is unframed, but ready to hang. Signed by the artist, lower left.
Painted in 2024 and acquired directly from the artist. Ships from Denver, Colorado.
