A rare studio crafted live edge stool by Vermont furniture maker Roy Sheldon. Handcrafted in Marlboro, Vermont in 1972, the piece features an organically shaped solid wood slab top with expressive natural grain, gently splayed tapered legs and a wonderfully sculptural profile. The underside is hand-inscribed “Roy Sheldon, Marlboro VT, 1972”. A collectible example of American studio craft furniture that can be used as a stool, small side table, plant stand or sculptural accent.
