A beautifully decorative vintage English ironstone coffee pot by Adams Calyx Ware in the sought-after Metz floral pattern.
Crafted in Real English Ironstone, the substantial coffee pot features an exuberant botanical design of pink and blue flowers with green foliage and warm golden-ochre painted details against a creamy ivory ground. Its original fitted lid is crowned with a distinctive sculptural pink pomegranate-style finial.
Marked underneath Calyx Ware, Real English Ironstone, Micratex, Adams, England, Member of the Wedgwood Group.
Dimensions: Approximately 8.5” H to top of finial x 7.5” W from handle to spout. Lower body approximately 4.5” diameter.
Beautiful vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs noted. Fine overall age-related crazing is present throughout the glazed surface and is visible in the photographs. Painted decoration remains bright and beautiful.
