A stand of trees crosses the upper half, built up in greens that run from deep blue green in the shadowed mass to warm yellow green where the last light catches the outer leaves. Behind and above them the sky is lavender and pale blue with long bands of cream and gold cloud lying just over the treetops. The trees are taller and denser at the right and step down toward the left, where narrow upright trunks show against the sky. The lower half is meadow, laid in with short strokes of green, olive and violet gray that lighten toward the bottom edge. The light is the cool, even light just after sundown.

The painting measures 24 inches high by 32 inches wide. It is framed and ready to hang, and measures 25 by 33 inches framed. The frame is shown in the photographs. Signed by the artist.

Painted in 2026 and acquired directly from the artist. Ships from Denver, Colorado. See less
