The sky carries most of the picture. A flat khaki and olive ground runs across the top, crossed by long violet blue cloud bars whose lower edges catch salmon and coral light. The bars stretch from edge to edge and break into smaller strokes toward the center right, where a pale band of pink and cream light sits just above the horizon. Below, the land reads as a dark blue green field with clumps of trees along the horizon and olive and brown strokes in the foreground. The palette sets warm salmon and gold against cool violet and green.

The painting measures 10 inches high by 16 inches wide. It is framed and ready to hang, and measures 16 by 22 inches framed. The frame is shown in the photographs. Signed by the artist, lower left.
